Dragonball (2009)Alot of people dont want this movie to happen, im still a fan since years ago, and i can visualise how brilliant it could be with the right touch. james wong may not be used to doing these kind of projects, but in the film, The One, there are hints of possibility of achieving the dragonball z vision, like the slomo cop battering lol. But there need to be things said, for example, im sure that most fans of the dbz series, want to see epic action and serious, and intense diologue. DBZ was an era based a few years ago, we want to see a 15 grade film! They had corny stuff in dbz, all animes do! Look what corny phrases did to fantastic four 2!! the dialogue was terrible, but they had cool fight sequences, which can be related with dbz's dramatic fight scenes. They also had cool choreographing, and amazing characters. these epic features laid out the carpet for dbz's arrival to USA and with it britain. we want to be thrilled again as we were then, make it cool, make it epic... also some character thoughts, i was thinkin brandon routh as goku as he has been proven for the role, as shown in superman, he can play the character. but word has gotten thru that justin chatwin is goku now, which is fine because i can see it, but he needs to have the look/body and the character...also mark strong from stardust had a definate possibility of being vegeta, although james marsters is apparently doing piccolo now, not vegeta? ok the man IS that character, (read my other posts on page 4). i am extremely annoyed also that chris judge wasnt considered for the role of piccolo, because he practically is the character, when he is in stargate. when i was watching "Stardust" when the star was falling, i just thought how cool it was, and how fitting it would be for goku's ship falling in the sky. The music made it cool also,(transformers did same really cool thing when the autobots crash landed) and thats another factor that should be thought of by james wong, as he had disturbed, etc. in The One, "Down with the sickness" (Which I really think they should use in this also, they used it in Green Street at the start which heightened the intense fighting!). He should have cool music in dbz, as there was in many of the music vids, and the animated films, for example linkin park, which transformers used. And the music made it much more atmospheric and epic. By the way on the music front, they should really consider using muse, cause they have the style of music used in the animated movies, and their songs kik ass lol.!. Im sorry if your not a fan, but this stuff is quite important to the fans lol. if wong can pull it off the way ive described, i have confidence that everyone can see the vision of dbz that weve been seeing for years... If anyone is reading this who has connections, it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell james wong about this post!!!
